The International Advertising Festival “White Square” is one of the biggest events in the spheres of marketing and advertising in Belarus that creates trends in these areas and related fields for the whole year. The festival is held yearly in the second part of April in Minsk. In the year 2012 the festival will be held already for the fourth time on 19th-21st of April.
The participants include the representatives of the major communicative agencies not only from Belarus but also from the number of other CIS and European countries. In the year 2011 we hosted the participants of 20 countries, and the list of them is constantly growing.
The “White Square” is famous not only due to the program of the competition but also due to the intense educative program. In the frameworks of the festival all the guests and participants have a unique chance to attend more than 50 seminars, master-classes and workshops in the sphere of advertising, marketing and branding. The program is being created in such a way that allows the participants to hear not only specialists from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine but also from CIS and European countries.
The jury consists of professionals in marketing and advertising from different countries. There will be 9 different juries judging. Mainly among the jury members there will be creative-directors of the famous advertising agencies and also art-directors and administrative staff of the major marketing and communicative companies. In total there are 11 contests, each contains many different nominations. The works that enter short-lists and take first places are granted the awards of the festival.
